Raditek differentiates itself from the competition in many ways:
The two founders are both Telecom Engineers, Malcolm Lee has both a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering and an MBA in Telecommunications. Peter Corbett has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering and an MBA. Both have many years experience in the Wireless and Microwave systems and sub- assemblies industry, including VSAT (satellite Ground station industry) and Point to Point terrestrial microwave systems.

Most of Raditek volume products are made offshore, in specialized focused high volume manufacturing groups. This results in quality state of the art products. An ISO 9000 Quality Management system is enforced and quality products are guaranteed.

Raditek has built a reputation for full technical customer service, and still kept its prices 10 to 15 % (typically) below the competition. Worldwide Sales and Marketing is directed from the Headquarters in San Jose, California. The technical staff is fully trained to deal with all customer inquiries. All orders are processed and statused daily. Product is shipped FOB San Jose and has a 1 year warranty

Design Engineering is carried out both at our San Jose, California headquarters and at the specific product groups. A (dated) data sheet is generated for every order, and in response to most RFQ’s. This starts as a working document between the customer and Raditek’s engineering group. once jointly agreed it becomes the “Build document” referenced on the order. Parts can be either built to our standard or customized to a customer’s requirements.

Raditek Ferrite Division facilities are over 21,000 sq. ft with some 70 employees including 12 engineers in the Research and Development group. We have shipped over 350,000 isolators and circulators and have capacity to more than double within the present structure. We make Stripline and Coaxial Isolators for Asia in our modern factory in China.  Our US based R&D and test facility has expanded into a full manufacturing center to support the popular Cellular and PCS Stripline Isolator Product line for fast design turn around of new requirements and manufacture for North American customers
 
Raditek was founded in 1993. It is a California Corporation with four divisions: Ferrite Products, Oscillator Products, SMT Couplers, Hybrids and Ballun Products  and Special Projects. Raditek sells its products both directly and through an increasing number of Representatives worldwide. A comprehensive short form catalog is available in cd or hard copy format, it can be mailed or obtained from the local representative, it is also available on line on the raditek.com web site.

Special Projects work mainly outside USA, engineering and coordinating projects and sourcing assemblies from USA , an example is a multi hop solar powered 7GHz Microwave Repeater system in the Amazon rain forest of Brazil.
